Worth County Jail Roster
The Worth County Sheriff's Office navigation points users to Current Inmates Charges and Bonds. The Sheriff-hosted page itself said "Coming Soon" during research, but it links to the working Worth County OffenderIndex roster. That vendor interface is the county's practical public roster for current inmates, bookings over the last 24 hours, and inmates by booking date.
The roster is free and does not require a login. During the June 4, 2026 inspection, the current roster API returned zero rows. That does not prove the jail had no one in custody. It only means no current rows were returned during that inspection. When an online result is missing or time-sensitive, Jail Operations remains the direct custody check.
The OffenderIndex page is the official linked roster interface for Worth County current inmates and booking-date searches.
Because the roster has multiple tabs, the right search path depends on whether the person is believed to be in custody now, booked very recently, or already released.
Use Worth County Inmate Roster
A good Worth County inmate records search starts broad and then narrows. The roster does not require first name or last name fields, so a last-name search can catch spelling or first-name differences. The booking-date tab is better when an arrest date is known or when current custody is no longer likely. The previous-inmates checkbox can help with older booking records, though the roster warns that it may take longer.

Worth County Inmate Profile
Worth County inmate records on the public roster are booking and custody records, not complete court dockets. They can show arrest and charge details, but the filed charge and final case result may change later in Magistrate, State, or Superior Court. The roster detail tabs in the page source include Charges, Sentence, Visitation, History, No Data, and Other, though Worth County's configuration turns some fields off.

Use that contact route when online roster data is absent, delayed, or not enough to confirm a custody question.
Worth County Booking and Bond
A person arrested in Worth County is transported to the Worth County Jail unless another agency has custody authority. Booking creates the administrative record, including identity, charge or warrant entry, arrest date and time, arresting officer, and other roster fields. The county FAQ says a jailed person will either have a bond hearing immediately after booking or within 72 hours of arrest, depending on the charges, and will have an opportunity to contact someone to arrange bond.
The roster can show a total bond field, but that field is not the whole release analysis. A cash, surety, property, recognizance, no-bond, probation, parole, ICE, federal, or other-agency hold can change whether payment leads to release. If a bond amount is missing or confusing, call the jail before paying or traveling. Court orders and warrants control release.

Worth County Jail Visitation
Worth County Jail visitation is published as a Sunday-only block schedule. Each inmate can have five visitors at a time, every visitor must be on the inmate's list, and each visitor must show picture ID. The official page did not publish a dress code, child visitor rule, remote video schedule, holiday rule, or visitor locker instructions during research.

Confirm the block assignment with the inmate or jail before traveling, because the public roster did not expose public housing location during inspection.
Worth County Jail Mail Money
Worth County Jail family-contact rules are unusually specific. Mail is generally limited to pre-stamped or metered white postcards in blue or black ink, with size limits and no affixed stamps. Legal mail is treated separately. Photos are accepted through SmartJailMail, not ordinary postcard mail, and the Sheriff page lists content restrictions for photos, drawings, and books.

Request Worth County Records
When the roster does not answer the question, the Sheriff's open-records process is the formal route. The open-records page instructs requesters to submit requests to openrecords@worthcosheriff.com. The form asks for requester contact details, a specific description of the records, and a preferred delivery method such as mail, email, fax for 10 pages or fewer, pickup, or in-person review.
Worth County cites O.C.G.A. 50-18-71(c) for search, copying, and direct administrative costs tied to retrieving, redacting, and compiling records. The Sheriff's page says there is no charge for the first 15 minutes, copy fees are generally $0.10 per page unless another law controls, no charge applies for producing 10 pages or fewer, and a requester can receive a cost estimate before purchase.

Worth County DOC Federal Lookup
GDC Find an Offender is the Georgia route for sentenced state offenders. It is separate from the Worth County Jail roster and includes fields for last name, first name, gender, race, age range, current institution, offense, county, active or inactive scope, and photo or no-photo list type. Worth County Jail appears in the statewide current-institution options, but GDC remains a state system, not the county roster.
